It was first announced in March 2017, which means it could potentially have spent seven years in development before release. It was initially scheduled to release sometime in 2022 but has been bumped to 2023 or 2024. The Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora delay is arguably the more significant hit to Ubisoft, as it’s received quite a bit of hype. However, Ubisoft has decided to scrap it entirely, which is probably the right choice.
